Baxter Creighton Cheek was born in Rockingham, NC, December 22, 1984. A short time later, he and the Cheek family moved to the Carolina Coast. Since 1986, he has considered Ocean Isle and Sunset Beach his hometown. After graduating from West Brunswick High School in 2003, Baxter chose to remain loyal to his coastal roots and attended UNC-Wilmington, graduating in 2007. Receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, real estate was a natural fit for his post collegiate years. Obtaining his broker's license in 2008, Baxter immediately began working with Resort Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. tackling both commercial and residential real estate.
